Send in the plastic tanks!

So, yesterday the big story all around the blogosphere was that the AP was duped into running a story about a captured American soldier who turned out to be a GI Joe action figure. EDIT:(|just | for | fun |)

You know why the AP fell for this? Because they're a bunch of metrosexual wusses who played with barbie dolls growing up.

On the otherhand, just because our friend is an Artificial-American, should we really leave him in Al-Qaeda's clutches? What about the fact that he is an African-Artificial-American (AAA)? Also, note that he looks angry. He is in fact an Angry-African-Artificial-American (AAAA). Would we leave behind a PCAN (Perturbed-Caucasian-Artificial-Norwegian)? I don't think so. This is clearly evidence of discrimination from the Bush administration. Somebody call Jesse Jackson!

Oh, and speaking of whacked-out figures from the Democratic party, it looks like Howard (YEAAAAAAAAARGH!!!) Dean will probably be the next chairman of the DNC.

This is why the Democrats keep losing elections. Internally, the party is dominated by farleft nutjobs.

The United Nations, in their typical bureaucratic manner, has found a new way to eliminate genocide. By redefining it. "[The U.N.] agreed that there were indeed mass killings of civilians, torture, rape, pillaging, possible war crimes and perhaps crimes against humanity [in Sudan's Darfur region], but there was no evidence of genocide." Somehow, I think I prefer the Americans' method of stopping genocide. . . .

A Swedish police officer robbed a bank and then returned in uniform to head the investigation. I wonder what essential clue he left that gave himself away to himself? Maybe he's just a really good detective. . . .

Airborne Combat has an photo of a marine faithful to his duty. " ... one to the foot, one to the buttock area, and 30-40 pieces of grenade shrapnel in his back ... and he still has the presence of mind to keep his trigger finger in safety position." (NOTE: apparently there is some controversy over the story.)

I've been meaning to bring this up, but Islamists are picking Christian targets from the internet. "A radical Islamic Web site systematically tracks Christians on PalTalk.com, an Internet chat service on which a New Jersey man received a death threat two months before he and his family were murdered. The password protected Arabic Web site, at the address www.barsomyat.com, features pictures and information about Christians who have been particularly active in debating Muslims on PalTalk."

While I desperately hope these Islamists never discover that I, P. Sherman, live at 42 Wallaby Way, Sidney, Australia, I frankly can't help but feel like I should have some sort of bravado about being a Christian in the face of this. It's like when someone double dog dares you not to do something, only it's an imposition on your willingness to stand by the upright rather than an imposition on your pride.

Anyway, I don't think there's any question in this which 'side' is fighting the good fight.
